Whitman County had 76 new COVID-19 cases in last week
County has running total of 2,784 COVID-19 cases

From Dec. 25-31, 76 individuals tested positive for COVID-19, which brings Whitman County’s total to 2,784 cases.
Of the new cases, three females and four males are aged 0-19 years. Fourteen females and 13 males are aged 20-39 years. Seven females and two males are aged 40-59 years. Seven females and eight males are aged 60-79 years. Sixteen females and two males are over the age of 80, according to press releases from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.
As of Thursday, 10 people are hospitalized. All other patients are stable and self-isolating. There have been 22 COVID-19-related deaths in the county, according to Thursday’s press release.
Residents are reminded to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Thanks for the update. Could you please provide more information about what the age range for dead and hospitalized? I’m sure a lot of people would like to know more about lengths of hospital stays and average recovery time. And more importantly where are people contracting the disease.
