ASWSU President announces resignation

From staff reports

ASWSU President Adam Crouch announced that he would be resigning from his position effective this Friday during the weekly ASWSU Senate meeting.

Crouch said that he would be leaving for personal reasons, and did not take any questions from the senate. He and some members of the executive staff walked out of the meeting immediately after.

Vice-president Kyle Geiger will assume the role of president as soon as Crouch’s resignation becomes official. Geiger said that the executive staff hopes to find a replacement vice-president by the end of next week, but nothing is guaranteed.

Crouch could not be reached for comment and members of the ASWSU executive staff chose not to comment on the matter.
