Whitman County confirms 75 new COVID-19 cases

County has running total of 3,155 cases; WSU Pullman has 39 active COVID-19 cases

From Jan. 23-29, 75 individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising Whitman County’s total number of cases to 3,155.

Of the new cases, nine females and seven males are aged 0-19 years. Eleven females and 27 males are aged 20-39 years. Five females and seven males are aged 40-59 years. Two females and three males are aged 60-79 years. Two females and two males are over the age of 80, according to press releases from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.

As of Jan. 29, a total of 82 people have been hospitalized in the county. There have been a total of 36 COVID-19-related deaths in the county, according to Friday’s press release. All other patients are stable and self-isolating.

WSU Pullman has a total of 2,017 positive COVID-19 tests and 39 active cases as of Jan. 28, according to the WSU COVID-19 dashboard.
