Letter From the Editor

Meet your new Life editor

ALEXANDRIA OSBORNE, Editor-in-chief

Hi. I would like to introduce myself as the new Life editor at The Daily Evergreen. My name is Alexandria Osborne, and I am a junior here at WSU pursuing a major in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in creative writing.

With my major and minor, I spend a lot of my time writing for school, work and myself. I have always found joy in writing, and even though I am an editor now, I have multiple other outlets for my work, which I am very excited about.

Outside of the insane amount of time writing, I make time for Greek Life. I joined Sigma Kappa last semester as a sophomore, and I am looking forward to getting more involved with my chapter this fall.

My goal for the Life section this semester is to feature people and places people normally wouldn’t think about. I am hoping to bring awareness to businesses and clubs people typically don’t hear about, and to hopefully continue bringing the Life back to Pullman after the pandemic.

In my two years as a reporter at The Daily Evergreen, Life was my favorite section to write in. I loved being able to talk to new people and learn about different organizations across campus and different businesses around town. I even went to a coffee shop I wrote about that I wouldn’t have heard of if my editor at the time didn’t ask me to write about it.

If anyone has any business, club or even person they want to be featured this semester, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected]
