The construction of the second roundabout located at North Grand Avenue and Albion Road is running behind schedule.

The roundabout is being built by Aspen Heights in order to accommodate increased traffic from its new student housing development, which are both running two months behind schedule, according to the Pullman Radio News article.

City officials do not know when the second roundabout will be completed.

In other roundabout news, the single-lane Terre View roundabout, which was scheduled to be completed on Aug. 19 was opened for all traffic on Wednesday, according to the Pullman press release.

Shawn Kohtz, City Public Works Director Shawn Kohtz said in the press release that they are proud to fully re-open a key intersection to the community that is safer, more cost-effective and better for traffic flow.

The release expressed appreciation for the cooperation and execution by the local contractor, Motley-Motley, Inc., as well as the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board for grant funding support throughout this process.
