Oklahoma rock is meeting Palouse rock onstage Wednesday, as the Oklahoma band Psychotic Reaction will perform alongside the Moscow band Ideomotor at 6 p.m. in Pullman’s Reaney Park.

As part of the former’s Psychotic Reaction Tour, the bands will perform until 8 p.m., said Jack Christensen, Palouse Music Community executive director. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

There will be no admission fee to the show, but show-goers are encouraged to pay $5 to support the artists, Christensen said.

“It’s always fun to get the music community together and see some great artists, especially some that are from out of town,” Christensen said.

Psychotic Reaction plays psychedelic rock while Ideomotor plays general rock, Christensen said. Each band will play for no longer than one hour.

Palouse Music Community is the sole organizer and sponsor of the show, Christensen said. Psychotic Reaction contacted Palouse Music Community about performing in Pullman as part of their tour, hence Wednesday’s show.

Palouse Music Community also has plans to organize more shows this summer, Christensen said.
