Two individuals were confirmed to have been killed in an active shooter incident at the Beyond Wonderland Festival at the Gorge Amphitheater. As of 9:17 p.m., the shooter was taken into custody, according to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office post.

The shooter randomly shot into a crowd of people, said Kyle Foreman, a public information officer for the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the post, the incident happened at the campground and not at the venue.

Three people were injured, including the gunman, Foreman said.

According to a Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge Twitter post people should avoid Gate H and there is no current danger to festival-goers or the campgrounds.
