Welcome back! I hope everyone had a spectacular 4th of July — I sure did. It was definitely warm when I watched the fireworks, and I am sure the heat will continue.

If you enjoy the heat, I have some events for you, but if you are still hoping to stay inside with some nice air conditioning, you are in luck, because I am sure I have found something for everybody.

Lost in the Palouse Landscape

  • What: Art show featuring work by Ludmilla Parez Saskova
  • When: 9 a.m.–6 p.m. weekdays until the end of August
  • Where: 1912 Center in Moscow

Pullman Farmers Market

  • What: Annual Farmers Market
  • When: 3:30–6 p.m. Wednesdays
  • Where: Brelsford WSU Visitor Center

Music on Main

  • What: Local bands and artists perform downtown between June–September
  • When: 6–8 p.m. Thursdays
  • Where: Pine Street Plaza in Pullman

What Was Yours But Never Lost

  • What: An exhibition showing recent works of various forms of video art by Indigenous filmmakers from North America
  • When: May 16–June 30
  • Where: Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU

Live Music

  • What: Live music featuring Morgan Bros. Band
  • When: 7–10 p.m. July 7
  • Where: Boyer Park and Marina in Colfax

Summer Concert

  • What: Live music featuring Paradox, a five-member band from the Pullman-Moscow area
  • When: 7 p.m. July 8
  • Where: Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown
  • Cost: $15

18th Annual Golf Classic

  • What: Golf classic with a breakfast before shotgun start in a four-person scramble style, and a barbeque lunch after
  • When: 7 a.m.–2 p.m. July 8
  • Where: Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman
  • Cost: $200 per player, $35 for barbeque lunch

Community Listening Session

  • What: Discussion with NWPB and community members to bring ideas and interests into news
  • When: 5:15–6:30 p.m. July 12
  • Where: Gladish Community Center in Pullman

Raft Trip

  • What: 20-mile raft trip with rapids and beaches
  • When: 9:30 a.m. PST July 14
  • Where: Meet at Lucile Recreation Site, two and a half hours away from Pullman
  • Cost: $65 per person
