February is Black History Month and we’re honoring four Black Americans who have made a great impact in the country’s history. Willie Mae Thornton, an influential R&B singer and song writer, Benjamin O. Davis Jr., the first Black brigadier general in the United States Air Force, Marsha P. Johnson, a gay liberation and AIDS activist, and Bayard Rustin, a politcal activist for civil and gay rights.
