From 8–10 p.m. on Saturday, McCroskey and Scott-Coman Halls will put on a Halloween event called Scotty Co-Croskey: Haunted Hall. It is located at the Hillside Area Desk, which will direct you to the haunted house.
The hall government is jointly running this event and will provide entertainment and candy for anyone willing to plunge into the depths of the haunted house.
“People can come and go through it, hopefully get scared and get some free candy, said K Smith, a McCroskey Residence Hall association representative.
The event is meant for anyone, not just McCroskey and Scott-Coman residents. Everyone is encouraged to come and be a part of the spooky tradition, Smith said.
McCroskey is also putting a bit of a spin on a traditional haunted house — it is different than one that you simply walk through.
“We’ve got some fun interactive parts that will let people get a little more involved than a typical haunted house,” Smith said.
This is an annual event and the residence halls are excited to bring it back for Halloween 2024 — if you are looking for something to do on Saturday night, head to the Hillside Area desk starting at 8 p.m. for fun frights.
