Pullman City Council completed department budget workshops Monday for the 2025—26 calendar years.
This was the last of two workshops, the first being Oct. 29. No official decision was made at the meeting, but the city is hoping to adopt the proposal by Nov.19, said Pullman Finance Director Jeff Elbracht.
A public hearing for the budget is set to be held on Nov. 12.
“Just the work that [Elbracht] and the rest of the staff have done bringing this together, it’s a fantastic document,” Mayor Francis Benjamin said.
The budget estimates general fund revenue to be $29,638,448 and operational expenditures about $32,744,752 for 2025. The rest of the 2025 estimated expenses is expected to be $56,321,980 and the total expenses is anticipated to be $89,066,732.

The budget was drafted with feedback from department heads and City Administrator Mike Urban.
