Police responded to a stabbing incident at Orton hall early Monday morning, according to WSU Police.
Police arrived at 1:18 a.m. to find a 20-year-old victim with a knife wound in his arm. Upon further investigation, WSU Police identified a suspect as 20-year-old Tatiana Martinez.
The suspected knife was recovered at the scene. Pullman Police were also at the scene and provided an agency assist during the incident.
Martinez is being held without bail in Whitman County Jail on charges of second degree assault. The victim was brought to Pullman Regional Hospital where he was discharged after refusing treatment.
