Staff reports

PULLMAN — Washington State University is currently working with the U.S. Department of Justice to execute ways to address the issue of sexual assault, violence and stalking.

A $300,000 grant was awarded to Paula Adams, the associate director of health promotion at Health and Wellness Services, to continue the efforts put forward by the previous grant.

This will be WSU’s second round of funding, which goes to create programs and resources like Green Dot.

During the next few years the grant will be used to respond to the issue of gender-based violence on campus.
