WSU linebacker arrested for second airsoft offense

From staff reports

WSU linebacker Ivan McLennan was arrested Sunday for wielding a weapon capable of bodily harm after allegedly pointing an airsoft gun at another student.

Police received a phone call that afternoon from the student, who reported a man pointed a gun at the student’s vehicle as it traveled through the parking lot of The Grove apartments on Northeast Brandi Way.

Pullman Police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said the student was especially frightened in light of the recent shooting at Seattle Pacific University.

McLennan was cited for a gross misdemeanor because he had been warned for the same offense about three weeks prior, Tennant said.
