Man arrested for assaulting Old European coworker

From staff reports

A man was arrested May 25 after he allegedly threatened to slit a coworker’s throat using a stove-cleaning utensil at The Old European restaurant on Grand Avenue.

Police charged Jerry L. May, 54, of Moscow with second-degree assault and misdemeanor harassment when he returned to work on Monday morning.

Pullman Police Sgt. Dan Hargraves said May left the restaurant shortly after police were notified of the incident, contributing to the probable cause for which they arrested him.

May was booked into the Whitman County Jail in Colfax.
