Cougars conclude Silverado Showdown

WSU women’s golf completed the Silverado Showdown on Tuesday in Silicon Valley, California with a total score of 917 (+53) to secure a 14th place finish.

Leading the way for the Cougars was senior Madison Odiorne. She posted a 73 (+1) in the third round to reach an overall score of 223 (+7) to finish in a tie for 19th.

Junior Marie Lund-Hansen carded a 74 (+2) on the final day to secure a total score of 226 (+10) to finish in an eight-way tie for 34th.

Freshman Amy Chu tied for 62nd after posting a total of 233 (+17) with a 77 (+5) on the final day.

The final two Cougars, redshirt sophomore Emily Baumgart and freshman Darcy Habgood, both finished in a tie for 82nd.

Baumgart’s recorded her best round of the showdown Tuesday shooting a 76 (+4).

The Cougars will take the course for the final time this season next Monday through Wednesday at the Pac-12 Championships in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
