Climate change expert to talk at library today

From staff reports

A community discussion on climate change will be held today at the Neill Public Library in downtown Pullman.

The event, dubbed “Wicked Solutions for a Wicked Problem,” is being put on by the library in order to create a better understanding of climate change issues and to help the public make more informed decisions on the matter, according to a news release from the city website.

The discussion will be led by Peter Haug, who has had a 30-year career in environmental impact analysis, according to the city website.

Haug has previously taught classes at the Pioneer Center in Pullman on climate change, according to the city website.

The event is free and open to the public. It will start at 5:30 p.m. in the Hecht Room at the Neill Public Library.
