The City of Pullman will be holding public forums on the city’s proposed transit route and service levels this fall.

The forums will be held at 4:45 p.m. on April 24 and 8 a.m. on April 25, each lasting an hour, said Sebastian Sanders, ASWSU community affairs director in an email. The forums will be held at the Pullman City Hall Council Chambers. Students who want to discuss the route and service levels for the Pullman Transit system are encouraged to attend.

“The forum call mentions Apartmentland Express, which heavily serves the student population,” Sanders said. “It is an opportunity for students to generally talk about route and service levels in general for all of the Pullman Transit system.”

Sanders said students are doing their part in funding public transit that benefits all community members and not just those at WSU. They are urging city council to look for ways to prioritize resources and the budget toward public transit.
