Mayor soliciting goals from Pullman community members

From staff reports

Pullman Mayor Glenn Johnson is asking citizens what the city should do in 2017 to make the community a better place.

The annual event involves citizens mailing in goals that the city should work on throughout the year. Last year there was a lot of participation, Johnson said.

“This is a good process to get information from citizens,” he said.

According to a news release from the city’s website, goals should be turned in no later than Jan. 31. They can be mailed to the city or citizens can email them. Goals that did not make the list last year can be turned in again this year.

After the deadline, multiple city departments and workers will meet to review and discuss these goals. The final list will be announced at a City Council meeting in March or April, according to the news release.
