Women’s rights supporters from the Palouse are planning to take to the streets next week for a peaceful demonstration.

The march is to show support for the continuation of access to healthcare and safe abortion, equal compensation for women and freedom from harassment and being objectified, according to the March on the Palouse Facebook page.

The Palouse marchers plan to march along with others across the country and in Washington D.C. on Jan. 21.

They will meet near Moscow City Hall at 1 p.m. for a half hour march across the city to East City Park, according to the event’s Facebook page.
