The next vice president for finance and administration at WSU has been selected, according to a WSU news release.

A senior administrator at Boise State University, Stacy M. Pearson, will take over the position at WSU after holding a similar appointment at BSU for 12 years.

She will be in charge of financial, business and administrative operations at WSU, as well as campus planning and facilities operations.

Roger Patterson, the former vice president of finance and administration, left the position last year, which has since been temporarily held by Olivia Yang.

Pearson will start in the new position beginning March 1.
