Omega Delta Phi Fraternity Inc. raised more than $2,300 for a voluntary non-profit organization during its annual philanthropy auction on Friday.
Proceeds from the fraternity’s “Steal a Knight for a Night” event went toward United Way of Pullman, which supports a local network of social service, youth and health agencies helping people who live and work in Pullman and Whitman County, according to a news release from the fraternity.
Each of the 27 members was auctioned off during the event. Bidding began at $5 and top bidders received two hours of service from the member they won.
The fraternity also presented two recipients with its “It Grows as It Goes” scholarships for $250 each.
