Power has been restored to just over 2,000 Avista Utilities customers after an outage this morning which occurred as crews performed maintenance on power lines.

Corporate spokesperson Debbie Simock The outage affected business and residential areas in southern Pullman, as well as parts of campus, including the Chinook and Yakima apartments. The outage occurred at about 10:30 and crews restored power shortly after 11.
