A late winter storm may impact driving conditions from 11 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday, says a weather advisory issued by the U.S. National Weather Service. Snow expected to reach up to two inches with winds as high as 35 miles per hour.

According to the advisory, affected areas include Moscow, Plummer, Potlatch, Genesee, Pullman, Colfax, Rosalia, La Crosse, Oakesdale, Tekoa and Uniontown. According to the advisory, drivers should prepare for slippery roads and gusting winds.

The storm will build up in north-central Washington and pick up in intensity, reaching and affecting visibility in Okanogan Valley and the Purcell Trench, according to the advisory. The blowing snow will most likely affect driving as early as the evening commute on Friday.

The Weather Service also predicts a 30 percent chance of about one-half-inch of snow before 2 p.m. on Sunday.

A separate advisory from 5 a.m. on Friday until 5 p.m. on Saturday predicts 1-3 inches of snow to fall on Snoqualmie pass on Friday night, according to the Weather Service.
