City crews have begun Tuesday to repair a water main break near Dissmore’s IGA that has resulted in low water levels and closed Grand Avenue North between Stadium Way and Nye Street.

The 12-inch pipe broke at 5 a.m., according to a City of Pullman news release. Homes and businesses in the College Hill and Military Hill neighborhoods may have little or no water pressure due to the break, according to the release.

Officials ask people in these neighborhoods limit water use to help aid in repairs. Repair work is expected to last throughout the day.
