Two meals provided to the cadets during the LDX event were not MREs. Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Heatherly, one of the military science professors at WSU that runs the ROTC program, said he likes to provide cadets with one or two hot meals at the end of a mission. It lets them know their hard work and continual training is appreciated.
