The complete 2016 Panhellenic Council roster was announced by the 2015 council Monday to the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life. A finalized list of all positions was published Tuesday morning.

“They are an amazing group of women that are going to succeed in too many ways to explain next year,” wrote Taylor Christenson, the current Panhellenic president, in an email. “I am so excited to see in what ways they improve our community over the course of the next year.”

The elections were delayed by nearly a month due to unforeseen circumstances that were addressed by the council. The 2015 council worked to ensure a new council was completely elected by the end of the semester.

Here is the full list of 2016 Panhellenic Councilmembers, including their sorority chapter affiliation, their major and their standing at WSU:

• President – Ashlee Phillips, Kappa Delta: public relations and broadcast journalism, junior
• VP of Standards and Accountability – Jesse Coy, Kappa Kappa Gamma: pre-medicine genetics and cell biology, junior
• VP of Finance and Accountability – Alexa Bickel, Sigma Kappa: public relations, junior
• VP of New Member Services – Ty Baird, Kappa Alpha Theta: public relations, junior
• VP of Member Education – Sarah Hartman, Kappa Alpha Theta: advertising, junior
• VP of Scholarship and Service – Emmalee Schied, Chi Omega: psychology, junior
• VP of Public Relations – Nicole Nguyen, Alpha Gamma Delta: business marketing, junior
• VP of Membership Recruitment – Karissa Olson, Chi Omega: elementary education, junior
• VP of Recruitment Counselors – Megan Ulias, Kappa Alpha Theta: business marketing and management, junior

The 2016 council will assume its duties in January, coinciding with the start of the spring 2016 academic term.
