After facing obstacles during its election week in early November, Panhellenic will announce its entire 2016 council this afternoon, said current Council President, Taylor Christenson.

Currently, Jesse Coy is set to take the role of vice president of standards and accountability, Alexa Bickel will fill the role of vice president of finance administration, and Ty Baird will be vice president of new member services.

At the end of election week in early November, the council was without an adequate number of candidates and the election committee was unable to rule in favor of the majority.

The shortage brought the voting process to a complete halt while the council decided when to proceed with reopening applications to the Greek community.

Christenson and other members of the current council worked to ensure that before the semester came to a close, the Panhellenic community would be able to welcome the 2016 councilwomen into their new leadership roles.

The 2015 Panhellenic Council’s term will officially end at the close of the fall 2015 academic semester.
