From staff reports

Two WSU students died and another sustained serious injuries in two traffic collisions that occurred the weekend before Thanksgiving.

They were driving on Highway 195 north of Rosalia.

Early reports of the accident indicate the vehicle crossed the centerline for reasons yet to be determined, and hit an oncoming truck carrying three passengers. Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident, according to the press release.

One of the truck’s passengers was transferred to Sacred Heart for a broken leg, according to a report by the Spokesman Review. The other two passengers did not sustain injuries, according to the press release.
