The WSU women’s volleyball team plays an NCAA second-round match against Dayton, Dec. 2, 2023, in Pullman, Wash.

From being the final addition to the 2023 roster to the latest to enter the transfer portal, Magdalena Juric has entered her name into the transfer portal for the 2024 season. The grad transfer will have one season remaining of eligibility after spending four years at CSU Northridge and one season with the Cougs.

Juric only made one appearance during the 2023 season, playing in one set during the Cougs Oct. 13 matchup against Utah.

At her previous school, she had 147 kills and 71 total blocks over 32 matches played and has also played at top prep levels and in her home country of Croatia.

Her departure makes her the fourth player to enter the portal who was otherwise expected to return to the team for the 2024 season. Combined with the many seniors to graduate from their college playing days, a total of 12 players from the 2023 season will not be on the team going forward. Barring any additional departures, there will be just four returning players next season.
