WSU last played a match Dec. 7, 2023. However, their recent season is still getting new developments.
As a team, the student-athletes of the 2023 WSU volleyball team achieved a fall 2023 semester GPA of 3.67. Along with their accomplishments on the court, the WSU volleyball team achieved high marks in the classroom.
“Let’s not forget the importance of the STUDENT part of student-athlete. Go Cougs,” head coach Korey Schroeder posted in a quote tweet on X.
While the high GPA is thanks to a team-wide effort, two Cougs especially excelled both on the court and in the classroom. As previously announced, both Magda Jehlárová and Iman Isanovic earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-American honors.
Jehlárová finished the semester with a 3.77 GPA and Isanovic posted a perfect 4.0 GPA, both aiding the overall 3.64 GPA effort.
