The Moscow Police Department is searching for an escaped Idaho Department of Corrections inmate on the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, according to a post on its Facebook page.
Wayland Savage, 34, walked away from a job site this afternoon. He is 6’4, white and was last seen wearing dark pants and a black t-shirt, according to the post.
The department said citizens inside the Theophilus Tower residence hall should exit immediately in addition to those in the surrounding area. Anyone with information on Savage’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Moscow Police Department at 208-882-2677.
