Rape investigation leads to search warrant for fraternity

From staff reports

Pullman Police obtained a warrant Thursday and searched Delta Chi fraternity in response to a sexual assault claim made by a female victim.

Cmdr. Chris Tennant said they acquired evidence from the house and made progress on the case. However, Pullman Police have not made any arrests.

“We have a person of interest identified,” Tennant said, “but I wouldn’t call it a suspect.”

The victim woke up in the Delta Chi fraternity last weekend, and reported the alleged assault on Monday evening.

Tennant said police will continue to process evidence in the ongoing investigation.
