A 29-year-old man was taken into protective custody yesterday after he was found unconscious in the snow, suffering from hypothermia.

The man was found at about 12:40 a.m. on the 800 block of Southeast Klemgard Street and was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital.

Pullman Police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said the man’s employer reported him missing earlier in the day, and witnesses reported a man walking barefoot in the area.

No crime occurred.
