Food for thought:

1. Try your hardest not to go shopping hungry. I know we usually hit the store when we have no more food and are in desperate need of sustenance, but have a snack first. Otherwise, you’ll end up purchasing the entire store.

2. Make it a goal to cook at least one home-cooked meal this week. My suggestion is to make a stew of sorts, since you can make it in large quantities and have all those leftovers. Invest in a Crock-Pot, too, they can come in cute patterns and make it so you can come home from work or class to a warm meal in a yummy-smelling house. Don’t forget to send a picture of your masterpiece to your mom or dad. Make them feel like you’re eating real food.
