Campus political figures to hold lunch Wednesday

Student political leaders will speak at an event promoting peaceful dialogue between varying opinions from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the CUB, Room L37.

The event called “Q & A for a Better Community,” will feature live questions and answers regarding the campus environment at WSU.

The guest speakers at the event will include James Allsup and Mario Vega of the WSU College Republicans, as well as Matthew Sutherland and Gavin Pielow of the WSU Young Democrats. The event is meant to foster understanding and peace by creating an opportunity for communication between those with different opinions.

People can submit questions for the event on Survey Monkey until 11:59 a.m. on March 1. There will be a livestream of the event on Eddie Diaz’s Facebook profile, according to his post on Unity @ WSU.
