County’s number of COVID-19 cases increases to 35

One patient tested Wednesday, another on Thursday; 12 patients isolating at home

Two individuals tested positive for COVID-19, bringing Whitman County’s total number of positive cases to 35. 

A woman aged 60-79 years tested positive Wednesday, and she is stable and isolating at home, according to Wednesday’s press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.

A man aged 20-39 years also tested positive, according to Thursday’s press release from the Whitman County EOC. He is stable and isolating at home. 

Of 35 positive cases, 23 patients have recovered from the virus and 12 are self-isolating, according to the press release.

There are 1,706 individuals who have tested negative for COVID-19, according to the Whitman County Health Department website
