Two more positive COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Whitman County, bringing the county’s total to 49.

Both patients are male, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. One patient is aged 20-39 years, and the other is aged 40-59. Both patients are stable and isolating at home.

Of the 49 cases, 36 have recovered and 13 are still isolating at home, according to the press release.

The number of positive and negative COVID-19 cases reported on the Washington State Department of Health’s website still do not match the numbers reported by Whitman County Public Health’s website.
