Cougar Country Drive In is the newest dining option coming to the Compton Union Building, WSU announced Wednesday.

The restaurant will offer a limited version of the downtown location’s menu, said Spencer Desmarais, CUB assistant director of event services and operations.

“The restaurants’ signature items and then some espresso, smoothies and some breakfast items from the Zoe Coffee and Kitchen menu as well,” he said.

The restaurant will be on the ground floor of the CUB across from Coug Prints Plus, replacing the Reunion and Gridiron restaurants, Desmarais said.

Cougar Country will begin moving into the space soon and open before the start of the upcoming semester, Desmarais said.
