Downtown Pullman is filled with celebrations of love this Valentine’s Day, with many local businesses offering deals and seasonal specials. With a wide variety of offers, downtown has something for everyone, whether you’re on a date, enjoying a romantic meal or participating in Galentine’s Day.
Black Cypress
Greek bar and kitchen, Black Cypress, is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a romantic five-course menu. They also offer options to add wine pairings—one at $72 per guest and one at $125 per guest—or a juice pairing for $45 per guest. The prix fixe menu costs $135 per person. Reservations are open, with the earliest tables starting at 4 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Neill’s Flowers and Gifts
Neill’s Flowers and Gifts is offering a Coug Blooms arrangement alongside balloons for Cougs celebrating the day of love. They will also sell chocolates, plushies, jewelry, wind chimes and other flower arrangements to help people celebrate in their own unique ways.
Pups and Cups
The pet-friendly cafe Pups and Cups will hold a special Valentine’s Day event Feb. 13 from 6—9 p.m. Visitors can participate in a paint night while upcycling. Pups and Cups offers a canvas to paint for $8 or empty glass milk bottles to repurpose for $10.
Terracotta
Terracotta is hosting Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day workshops with a range of activities. One workshop is charcuterie-board-themed, where couples can create two stoneware charcuterie boards while enjoying chocolate-covered strawberries and a charcuterie spread for $145 per couple. For Galentine’s Day, Terracotta is hosting a berry bowl workshop where friends can craft colanders for picking, rinsing and serving fruit. This workshop costs $55, and a vegan spread of crackers, dips, fruits and veggies is included in the price.
Sella’s Calzone & Pizza
Sella’s has added a new item to its menu just in time for the holiday. The Alfredo Amore is made with Alfredo sauce, mushrooms, spinach, red onions and mozzarella. Buyers can choose to have it as either a pizza or a calzone.
Sugar Babe Bakery
For those with a sweet tooth, Sugar Babe Bakery has unveiled seasonal drinks for Valentine’s Day. The “Love Potion” Lotus is a reimagined version of their popular birthday drink. The raspberry mocha brings tart, chocolatey goodness with hints of pink to match the occasion.
