Farmer’s Market announces contest

STEPHEN COX, Evergreen reporter

The City of Moscow and the Farmers Market Commission have announced the 2018 Farmers Market Poster Contest.

The contest will be open to all ages, and the winner will receive a grand prize of $100. To participate, all contestants must submit their poster entry by no later than 5 p.m. on March 28. All contestants must reside within a 200 air-mile radius of the city of Moscow, or be a current student of WSU, University of Idaho or Lewis-Clark State College.

From all entries submitted, a jury panel will select five finalists. The public will vote on the finalists, and the most popular will be declared the winner. The final poster is expected to be chosen in mid-April.

For those interested in entering the contest, applications and contest rules are available at Moscow City Hall.
