Whitman County confirms 62 new COVID-19 cases

County has running total of 3,217 cases; WSU Pullman has 14 active COVID-19 cases

From Jan. 30-Feb. 5, 62 individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising Whitman County’s running case total to 3,217.

Of the new cases, nine females and 10 males are aged 0-19 years. Six females and nine males are aged 20-39 years. Nine females and 11 males are aged 40-59 years. Three females and four males are aged 60-79 years. One female is over the age of 80, according to press releases from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.

As of Feb. 5, a total of 85 people have been hospitalized in the county. There have been a total of 37 COVID-19-related deaths in the county, according to Friday’s press release. All other patients are stable and self-isolating.

WSU Pullman has a running total of 2,036 positive COVID-19 tests and 14 active cases as of Feb. 4, according to the WSU COVID-19 dashboard.
