First-place Fries

From staff reports

South Fork did it again — the local restaurant won best fries in the competition between Cougar Country, The Coug and Valhalla.

The “best fry” is unique to each individual, but WSU has pushed the shoestring fry to the top. The front of house manager at South Fork, Shanna Taylor, said South Fork’s unique fries set them apart from others in the area.

“Our fries are thin, nice and crispy on the outside, but still tender on the inside,” Taylor said. “You gotta go back for more with these fries.”

Taylor believes the success of these fries is not only due to the fact that they are truly delicious, but also that the atmosphere in the restaurant pushes it to the next level.

Any restaurant is encouraged by the support of the community, Taylor said. The love and care put into these fries is reflected in the quality.
